Gry Bratvold has extensive international experience as an advisor to the offshore and energy industry. She has assisted on a range of international offshore projects, including development projects in oil and gas and wind projects, both offshore and onshore. Her experience includes tenders, contract negotiations, advising on ongoing projects and operational matters. Her area of expertise includes offshore construction and in particular concept study and FEED contracts, EPC(I) contracts, O&M contracts, installation services contracts and lease and operate contracts for floating production. She has experience with project finance related agreements such as direct agreements, step-in agreements, etc. Bratvold has experience with anti-corruption work, e.g. due diligence of third parties, drafting of agent agreements and guidance on use of an intermediary when entering new markets.
Bratvold has more than seventeen years of experience in the area of shipping, offshore and oil service and has in-house experience from the FPSO operator BW Offshore. She has experience from projects in the North Sea, the U.S., Brazil, West-Africa, South-East Asia and the Middle East and has negotiated contracts with national as well as private oil companies, as well as advised on operational matters for companies in these regions. She regularly works on cross border projects that require cooperation with advisers in multiple jurisdictions.
