Sindre is part of Kvale’s department for EU/EEA and Competition Law and works primarily in the areas of competition law, state aid and EU/EEA law.
He specializes in Norwegian and EU/EEA competition law and advices clients within all aspects of competition law assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, cartel assignments and leniency processes, abuse of dominance questions, compliance questions, assessments of different kinds of cooperation agreements, joint ventures as well as follow-on claims due to anti-competitive conduct.
Before joining Kvale, Sindre worked as higher executive officer and advisor at the Norwegian Competition Authority on complex merger and investigation cases. He was also part of the Legal Staff's team assisting the Attorney General Of Civil Affairs in successfully defending the Interpress/Collective Boycott case before Norwegian courts for breach of anti-competitive agreements.
In addition, Sindre assists within the fields of state aid and other EU/EEA related problems, regulatory questions within grocery market, book market, rail sector and administrative law.
Sindre is also ranked in Legal 500 as recommended lawyer in EU and Competition Law.
