Anja Blytt is associated with Kvale's Employment Law department. In her daily work, Anja focuses on both individual and collective employment law, assisting a range of Norwegian and international clients.

During her tenure at Kvale, Anja has provided assistance to both private and public enterprises. She has acquired proficient skills in delivering employment law assistance tailored to the distinct legal frameworks each sector operates within. Among other things, Anja has been involved in challenging personnel and termination cases, sick leave issues, downsizing processes, and whistleblowing cases, as well as providing ongoing advice and drafting employment contracts, bonus schemes, procedures, etc.

Anja has also worked closely with employees as clients, gaining a profound understanding of individual rights and interests, which is essential for balancing the relationship between the employer and the employee. This experience has provided her with valuable and broad insight into the diverse needs that prevail on each side. Additionally, Anja has acted as a legal representative in several legal proceedings concerning topics within the field of employment law.

Furthermore, Anja has gained experience working across legal disciplines through her involvement in interdisciplinary teams. She has participated in the analysis of complex legal and political issues, as well as assisted in both minor and major due diligence processes. She excels at processing large volumes of information and applying it in complex legal evaluations.

From November 2022 to March 2023, Anja completed a secondment assignment for the Federation of Norwegian Enterprise (Nw: Hovedorganisasjonen Virke). During this period, she acquired valuable insight and experience within one of the country's largest employer organizations, performing a wide range of tasks in both collective and individual employment law.

At Virke, Anja served as a legal advisor in the negotiation section of the tariff department, gaining direct insight into collective employment law. She worked closely with several of Virke's major collective agreements, interpreting provisions, assessing tariff-related questions, and analyzing the consequences of legislative changes on tariff agreements. In addition, she participated in numerous dispute resolution meetings on behalf of Virke's members. In these meetings, Anja gained experience in conducting constructive dialogues with the enterprises' elected representatives.

Alongside her work, Anja is committed to staying informed about changes within the field of employment law. In anticipation of recent years' amendments to the Working Environment Act, Anja has conducted several seminars on these changes, helping enterprises to be well-prepared for the new laws' enactment. Moreover, Anja has conducted courses on employment law in the healthcare sector and on section 2.5 regarding local wage negotiations in the Main Collective Agreement for the civil service.
